Jesus Loves You!

⁴⁵ For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (NIV, Mark 10:45)

¹² “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? ¹³ And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! ¹⁴ In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish. ²⁸ “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (NRSV, Matthew 11:28–30)

Jesus' mission was to serve humanity. He gave up His life willingly to save us from the power of sin. Just as a shepherd cares for each of his sheep, Jesus loves and cares for each of us and seeks us to be among the faithful.
